● Little Witch's Fun Frizzle Pen - fluffy misfits with birds pulled from Mom's pens. Can get any and all colors. The only guarantee here is that you will get CUTE silkies or / and satins. Possibilities - blue, black, chocolate, mottled, lavender, partridge. (Not sharing at this time).**** I reserve the right to cancel any order as well as not share our work with certain individuals.
PROJECTS are subject to lighter skin, and occasionally 4 toes. We have worked so far on correct combs, great type, correct wing and toes. we are working on darkening the skin next.
CHICKS - WE DO NOT SHIP CHICKS. Local pickup only should we post we are parting with any under available birds section.
EGGS
All our eggs are pre orders and once an order is placed, no refunds will be provided.
Should you decide to cancel your order for ANY reason, no refund will be issued.
Should you decide to go with a different color / pen order, I am very happy to accommodate, and you will be placed next in line for said pen/color order.
A credit towards a future order can be placed on your account should you decide to incubate at a later date than initial order date.
All potential customers are directed to this post, should you fail to read this policy and still purchase eggs from Good Witch Homestead, you are still falling within the policy's terms as it is listed for public view.
I would love to guarantee same hatch and development rate for your shipped eggs, but unfortunately that is not possible when we trust a third party transporter. Fertility is tested bi-weekly in our incubators. I open up orders when fertility is at least 90% at home. Eggs movement and transit can interfere with egg condition. MANY things out of my control can interfere with your hatching rate (your incubator, the way you handle the eggs, etc!) I am more than happy to walk you through incubating techniques, best tested incubators, temperature and humidity that have worked best in my NY area. I love to chat with my customers and knock heads, come up with new incubation methods and solve puzzles or just chat chickens.
If you do not wish to take a chance on hatching eggs, please do NOT purchase.
Because of the no refund policy, your package will be insured at face value and YOU will be able to file a claim should it arrive damaged while in USPS care. I insure it for you because I will be unable to file a claim on your behalf. Please hold on to all shipping boxes and contents, as USPS will be requiring them for inspection, even if they do not tell you so until two weeks after you file the claim.
If you need to order eggs, payment is due at time of order.
If temperatures are over 80F or under 30F, your order will not ship until temps return to reasonable numbers (30F+ and under 80F.). If you insist that I ship when temps are outside suggested parameters, you are assuming full responsibility on egg condition at arrival (cracked due to low temps, frozen due to low temps or overheated due to high temps). If my hens decide to go broody, your order will be pushed until I am able to collect from said pen. There are no refunds because your order won't happen by a certain date, hens lay at their leisure, I can only estimate delivery.
****Mottled and Mille are Project pens. It means you will get light skin from those babies. Many breeders are still about one year away from FULL black skin Mottled or Mille. We get partial dark skin in Mottled, but not fully dark yet. You can also occasionally hatch 4 toes in any of these projects.
I try to send extras if the hens gift us extras. If I am unable to send extras same color as your order, I will send extras to your dozen from another pen. You never know what cutie patootie chick will awaken your love for another color pen. EXTRA EGGS are not a given. If we don't get extra eggs from our hens, we will obviously not be able to send extra eggs.
REFUNDS
Please check with who you need to check before placing any orders. Check your schedule, check your incubators, check planned vacations, weddings, etc. Chicks, eggs, bird orders are non-refundable unless I cancel them for no longer being able to fulfill them (does not apply to delayed egg orders)
There are no refunds on Eggs. There are no replacements on Eggs., unless I see fit.
There are no refunds nor replacements on Birds.
